Fireside KC - Furnishings - Fireplace Screens

Mesh screens were added to fireplaces as homes developed from the small dirt floor cabins to finished homes with stone or wood floors. Protection of fine floors, furniture and clothes became a primary concern. With the advent of gas logs Mesh Screens are less for spark protection. Instead adding to the décor of the fireplace and the believability of gas logs.

Single Panel

Spark Arrestors are single flat panel mesh screens that fit the fireplace opening or overlap it slightly. They are available as ready-made up to 31" high and can be custom sized to fit the opening exactly. From Black and Natural Iron in ready-made screens, to a variety of finishes in custom, from Oil Rubbed Steel and Pewter to Gold Leaf the Spark Arrestor can change the demeanor of any fireplace.

Belmont Vanderbilt
